The purpose of business from the point of view of Islam is to earn halal profit. This requires adherence and attention of businesses to the dos and don'ts specified in the religion for business activities. This research seeks to design a scale to measure the adherence of businesses to the principles of halal business in the retail industry. For this purpose, a mixed research method has been used in two phases, qualitative and quantitative, in which the design of the model has been discussed in the qualitative phase. For this purpose, through reviewing the background, using some narrative books, etc., the principles of halal business, statistics and a qualitative model are made. In the second phase, confirmatory factor analysis and Smart PLS software were used to check the validity of the measurement tool. The statistical population of this research is the customers of small retail stores in the city of Yazd, and 384 samples were selected based on this. The research results show that halal business includes five main dimensions, which are: general indicators in Islamic business, Islamic indicators regarding price, Islamic indicators regarding distribution, Islamic indicators regarding advertising, and Islamic indicators regarding employees. Finally, the validity of the model and the indicators related to the second-order confirmatory factor analysis, the investigation and the results confirm the validity of the constructed measure, which includes 29 items.
