Believing in Barekat (blessing) as a metaphysical concept that contributes to daily business progress is an accepted concept among Iranian cultures and their business owners. In this study, we aimed to present a comprehensive conceptual model of the role of belief in Barekat in business performance. Using a Grounded Theory approach, we sought to provide a conceptual framework for Barekat in the business field. Semi-structured interviews with 10 experts and business owners in Tehran’s Grand Bazar and Ardebil Traditional Bazar were conducted for data collection. Additionally; Atlas t.i software (version6) was used for data analysis with employing open, axial and selective coding. Sixty-nine open codes were extracted in the first stage of analysis. Furthermore, in Causal factors, strategies of action, contexts and the consequences of Barakat in business were extracted in the second stage of coding. Finally, the grounded theory framework emerged in the selective phase of coding. According to the resulted GT model, the most significant effects of belief in blessing on businesses pertain to the business life cycle, business growth from a financial perspective, and a socially appealing name.
