National resilience in the economy is a key concept in the literature of resistance economics and an undeniable necessity in facing economic crises and sanctions. Given the religious origin of the Islamic Republic of Iran, explaining the principles of national resilience based on Islamic economics, which leads to a fair distribution of income and wealth, increasing social cohesion, and consequently improving national resilience against crises, and providing quantitative indicators to measure it, are considered basic requirements for the country's economic policymaking. The present study aims to extract and explain the principles of national resilience with an Islamic economic approach based on the ideas of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and introduce quantitative indicators corresponding to these principles. This qualitative and exploratory study analyzes his written works and speeches using the "word-by-word explanation" method, which has its roots in the method of interpreting the Quran by the Quran. The research findings show that in Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's thought, economic resilience is tied to the economic resilience of the nation. Based on this perspective, five fundamental principles for national resilience can be identified: poverty alleviation, economic justice, cooperation and assistance, social responsibility and solidarity (based on public participation in community affairs), and respect for human dignity (by avoiding mercenaryism and strengthening participatory systems). For each of these principles, corresponding quantitative indicators have been proposed, which are derived from international literature and domestic sources and allow for continuous measurement and monitoring of the state of national resilience.
